About these prints and Giclee below

  • Giclee Art Prints ( pronounced "gee-clay") is the name for what is currently

  • the most advanced digital fine art print making technology. High quality

  • digital images are created from the original artwork and printed with 8-color

  • to 12-color professional printers and inks on various surfaces.

  •     The giclee process provides more detail and a brighter crisper color that

  • is far beyond that of lithography. producing a print that is a rival to the original.

  • Giclee prints can be produced on any kind of paper or on canvas. I chose to print on to canvas.

  • My originals are on canvas, and I wanted the prints to be as close to color and

  • texture as the originals. Canvas prints are also more durable and roll without

  • creasing for mailing.

  • My Giclee fine art reproduction on canvas are signed and numbered, limited editions.

  •

  •  Each canvas will have a protective coating applied, and is sent

  • to you as a rolled canvas in a protective mailing tube, ready for you to have mounted on

  • stretcher bars and professionally framed (without glass) just like an original oil

  • painting.

       Eagle Point Foot Bridge

  • P

  • Photo of  18 by 30 Giclee Fine Art Reproduction

  • The Eagle Point Park foot bridge in Clinton, Iowa might be the most

  • beautiful spot in the area. It has been a favorite subject of mine for

  • years, as I have painted many paintings with this bridge as the subject.

  • I could never quite get the painting I was looking for until this last fall when

  • the colors and the light happened. I caught this in a photo and

  • from the start of the painting through the finish I was happy with it.

  • The bridge was constructed during the depression of the 30s by the Civilian

  • Work Force. The bridge has stood up to the test of time with a little

  • maintenance, and its location spanning the valley among the big oaks

  • with its three arches has always inspired me.

  • The Giclee reproduction is 18 by 30 inches

  • printed on canvas

  • Signed and numbered and limited to 250

         Planters Peanut Elevator

  •       Photo of 16 by 20 in. Fine Art Reproduction

  • FFor many years the Mr. Peanut man on the old grain elevator was the most visible

  • landmark in Clinton, Iowa. The elevator had the Pillsbury logo on its face before Mr. Peanut.

  • As the peanut man faded, the Pillsbury logo started showing. Many years ago a bit of

  • mischief was conducted. One morning Mr. Peanut sported a new black mustache

  • and goatee. The fading face of the elevator with Mr.. Peanut made a great subject

  • and now its gone. The building was demolished in 2007.

  • The above photo of  Mr. Peanut Elevator is of a Giclee Fine Art Reproduction

  • Printed on Canvas

  • These  measure 16 by 20 inches and are signed and numbered and limited

  • to only 100
